Had an amazing late Christmas present today, fresh snow! I had already planned on getting up early but waking up to fresh snow all the way down in the valley was icing on the cake. I was the first person up, on the gondola at 08:20 as soon as we were allowed through the turnstiles.
Fresh snow out our window:
Waiting for the gondola to open:
First in the gondola, gondolas behind then those ahead:
Meant to put these on Instagram and Snapchat but as I have used all my data I have just left them until now:
Decided to take a picture to show the valley with snow rather than just the patches making it look like a golf course:
The first few runs we really good before the slopes were pisted or cut up. It was grey again today but brightened up a few times which was nice it was also really cold compared to the rest of the week but that wasn’t any bother when the snow was so nice.
Tomorrow is our last day so I am going to start packing soon so I get as much skiing in as possible tomorrow, my cousins left today so our party is slowly reducing in size. And that is about it; took loads of photos, as you can see, of all the fresh snow as I was so amazed. Today reminded me of out penultimate day in Engelberg at Easter where we had about a foot of fresh snow overnight!
